We won! I feel so proud of our cricket team led by Dhoni; the grit, determination and the amazing cool finally paid off! Its rare that I watch a cricket match but this being the T20; as exciting like a football or a hockey match; both sides play and decision arrived on in about three hours, I took my place on the most comfy sofa at my family friends' place. There was much excitement in the air, and as India's batting got over, the excitement was double. The score was not very high thus the question whether it will be sufficient to contain Pakistan or not added to the excitement. Our bowlers started not too bad with two early wickets but the ticking scores has us worried. The pace was quite fast at some seven odd runs an over and Pakistan wickets also fell in very quick succession, thus at all points in match it was anyone's guess about which team was winning. It could even had been Pakistan since even with falling wickets they made sure the pace of runs didn't reduce. In the last over Pakistan's Misbah hit the ball high to score a six and the situation came to four balls to go, six runs to win, only one wicket remaining — it couldn't have been any closer than this, surely. I guess we couldn't have asked for anything else in this dream finals, we stomp out the champions Australia in semi finals to greet our arch-rival in cricket, Pakistan! We were six adults with four children and believe me the kids were really amazed to see the adults scream louder than them! Everyone was tense in the room, but as Yoginder Sharma began the run up, my lil nephew and I started the yell of "out out out" and yo behold, we saw Misbah step outside the line and in an unorthodox way, scooped the ball high up in the sky, yell turned to a scream as we thought it might go all out of the ground for a six... eeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhh and we see a speck of blue under the ball and safely cover it with his hands! Misbah caught by Sreeshanth and Pakistan lost its last wicket with five more runs to make!
