Sethusamundaram

There is so much discussion going on about Sethusamundaram project that I also decided to check out some more finer details about. I was quite pleasantly surprised to see quite a bit of work done by the Sethusamundaram Corporation. They even had public hearing on the project where lot of clarifications were given

The project seems quite economically and technically viable with all environmental aspects taken care of. So what is this hue and cry about?
