L'Oreal found guilty of racial discrimination

Paris: L’Oréal, the French cosmetics giant, has been found guilty by the highest court in the French judiciary of racial discrimination, for considering women from the minority communities in France unworthy of selling its shampoos.

We need to have similar PIL against the fairness creams. I was so disgusted to find even Nivea coming out with skin cream with fairness cream component. Have you seen that advt about a tennis player who plays good but isn't worthy of going for a tournament because her body is darker than her face !!!

Protest against this social disorder!

I'am all for natural beauty. I hate artificiality in all it's guises. To me beautiful natural Simplicity is far more superior deeper than shallow fake hollow artificiality. Our articiality- laden commercial media presents virtual reality and want to somehow sell their crappy stuff by showing irrelevant advertisements. To get a taste of the real I move in the real world among genuine people. TV has become central part of modern homes and a medium for making up people's minds to purchase crap and more crap. I don't support commercial tv media and i don't waste much time watching it.
Here's a great reminder I came across while surfing, a must read for every beautiful woman whose akin to mother Nature:

A Great Reminder for all Beautiful Women

Some creams and lotions which claim to fade have a chemical calledHydroquinone.
This substance is a carcinogen
that has been researched to cause cancer and kidney damage in long term. When hydroquinone is
applied it gets absorbed into the blood stream through skin pores and excreted via the kidneys but
at a slower rate. Essentially, this means that that hydroquinone accumulates in the body and is
broken down in the bone marrow to p-benzoquinone.

List of cosmetic toxins and carcinogens:
Mineral oil -- Mineral oil may also go by the names liquid paraffin, paraffin wax, and petrolatum on the product label. Mineral oil is used so pervasively in skin care products because it is costs very little. However, mineral oil, once applied, prevents the skin from "breathing". It clogs pores,
interferes with the skin's natural ability to eliminate toxins, and can lead to acne flare ups. It
can lead to premature aging of the skin.

Dioxane(a synthetic derivative of coconut) -- This substance is widely used in skincare products and a few studies show that it is carcinogenic.

Parabens -- Methyl, propyl, butyl, and ethyl paraben. Many skin whitening creams use parabens as a
preservative so that their products have a long shelf life. Studies suggest that they may cause
cancer and interfere with the body's endocrine system, as well as causing allergic reactions and
skin rashes.

Mercury derivatives cause neurotoxic problems such as ataxia, speech and hearing impairment; mental problems such as irritability, fearfulness, and depression; kidney problems such as mercury-induced nephropathy; and immunotoxicity.

Alcohols --- These include ethanol, ethyl alcohol, methanol, benzyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol and SD alcohol. Not all alcohols have the same properties, but these, which are commonly found in skin care products, are very drying and irritating for the skin.

Fragrances -- Many fragrances are produced from ingredients that are known to be toxic or carcinogenic.

Why I write so many comments is because one of my elder sister puts on layers of make-up and fake brown lenses not caring for her original self. I pity her for hiding and she pities me for not supporting cosmetic and tv industry. I like her when she gets up in the morning to have tea with us without any artificial makeup and lenses, then she is the best. She the indigo jackal should be original.
